We report an ASD closure using a fully bioresorbable occluder performed at Swiss Ablation (Zurich) within the CardioVascular Global (CVG) network.

The procedure was guided by transoesophageal echocardiography.

This case contributes to the very early international experience with this technology outside China and represents, to our knowledge, the first use in ASD in Europe.

The concept of bioresorbable occluders aims to achieve defect closure while avoiding a permanent implant and preserving future transseptal access.

Further clinical follow-up will be essential to assess long-term outcomes.
