What is Sonovein™?
Sonovein™ is a non-invasive treatment technology designed to treat selected varicose veins using focused therapeutic ultrasound.
Unlike catheter-based procedures, the ultrasound energy is delivered from outside the body.
No catheter needs to be placed inside the target vein.
Who may benefit from Sonovein™?
Sonovein™ may be considered for selected patients with symptomatic varicose veins.
Patient suitability depends on several factors, including vein anatomy, vein diameter, ultrasound findings, symptoms and previous treatments.
A detailed ultrasound examination is required before treatment recommendations can be made.
