Each service listed below links to a detailed medical information page. These pages are designed to help patients understand their condition, whether treatment is needed at all, and which options may be considered before any decision is made.

At CARDIOVASCULAR GLOBAL, patient services are centered around individualized cardiovascular care, evidence-based decision making, and access to advanced treatment options.

This section provides an overview of the medical services we offer. Each service links to detailed information pages that explain the underlying condition, when treatment may be appropriate, and which options exist. These pages are designed to support patients and families in understanding their situation before any treatment decision is made.

Our approach is not focused on procedures alone. Instead, we aim to explain medical conditions, risks, alternatives, and expected outcomes in a clear and patient-friendly way. Not every finding requires treatment, and not every patient benefits from an intervention. Careful evaluation and personalized recommendations are essential.

Services such as PFO closure, left atrial appendage closure, and atrial fibrillation treatment are therefore presented as comprehensive information hubs. These hubs describe when a condition may be relevant, which therapies can be considered, and how decisions are made on an individual basis.

Patients are encouraged to explore the relevant service pages to learn more about their condition and to discuss their questions with our team. Consultations and second opinions are available to support informed and confident decision making.

We specialize in minimally invasive, catheter-based therapies that often avoid open surgery. Our focus is precision, safety, and long-term outcomes – tailored to your individual situation.

What to expect

  • Minimally invasive, catheter-based therapies; many procedures with short stay or outpatient pathways.
  • Clear evaluation: we review prior records/imaging and discuss options in plain language.
  • During treatment: local anesthesia or conscious sedation; focus on safety and precision.
  • After treatment: early mobilization, structured follow-up, and tele-consults on request.

How patient care is organized

Our primary clinical base is the CardioVascular Center Frankfurt (CVC), which is our first point of care for most patients. Patient care is provided by our team, including Dr. Horst Sievert and Dr. Kolja Sievert, and may be organized in four different ways depending on the medical indication:
1. Treatment at the CardioVascular Center Frankfurt (CVC) – our first choice whenever possible.
2. Treatment at other centers listed on this website – members of our team regularly work at these locations, and procedures are performed by us in close collaboration with the local medical staff.
3. Mobile expertise at external centers worldwide – for selected cases with specific requirements; the role of our physicians (proctoring/supervision or direct performance of the procedure) depends on local legal regulations, available expertise, and the individual situation; close cooperation with the local medical team is essential.
4. Referral to other expert centers worldwide (exception) – if a specific procedure is not offered within our own clinical spectrum; recommendations are based on our international activities in education and research; this is not a brokerage or referral business model.
