CardioVascular Global has established long-term collaborations with several leading cardiovascular centres in Tbilisi, Georgia, serving as an international platform for first-in-human and early-feasibility interventional studies.
In these centres, the CardioVascular Global team, led by Prof. Dr. Horst Sievert with Dr. Kolja Sievert and international colleagues, has performed pioneering procedures in multi-organ denervation, as well as in left atrial appendage closure, transcatheter valve therapy, and other advanced structural interventions.
This collaboration combines local clinical excellence with global trial experience and has produced the first worldwide results of multi-organ denervation for patients with both type 2 diabetes and hypertension. The results of the NECTAR-IV trial were recently presented at the TCT conference. CardioVascular Global continues to support innovation partners through clinical research, training, and procedural mentorship to bring new minimally invasive technologies safely into practice.
